Revolutions Old & New

Nov. 8, 2026, 4 pm, Glens Falls High School

We celebrate “Revolutions”, music that revolutionized cultures and the arts. There is Beethoven’s Eroica written in the passions of post-Revolution Europe, and then Mozart and his Figaro, the opera that tweaked and challenged the aristocracy. We will shake the strings as they oscillate between notes in John Adams ‘ Shaker Loops, along with the music which revolutionized American Ballet – Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
